more advent and saint lucia...

we missed our time at home last weekend due to the winter faire festivities at maya's school in austin, so we had many things to celebrate this sunday - the second week of advent, the beginning of our third week of advent, saint lucia day and papa's birthday!

the second light of advent is the light of plants,

plants that reach up to the sun and in the breezes dance...

the third light of advent is the light of beasts,

light of hope that shines in greatest and in least...

we also celebrated saint lucia day on sunday (december 13, also papi's birthday)...

through darkest winter night, comfort bestowing...
