to continue this week's theme, today i'm sharing two more in-progress handknits that i'm working on for maya's birthday next week. first up is a felted yoga mat bag (pattern from the awesome last minute knitted gifts, by joelle hoverson). i'm using all malabrigo worsted (in rainbow colors, of course) for this project and i've got quite a bit of knitting still to do - it needs to be 45 inches long prior to felting!
my second in-progress birthday gift project today is a matching baby bloom dream in color rainbow tunic that i just began for one of maya's waldorf dolls. i'm knitting this to match the rainbow tunic i just completed for maya (and shared with you yesterday)...
there is nothing that feels more rewarding and fulfilling than making handknits for my girl for her birthday. homemade, handmade goodness filled with love and care!
