we've had such a lovely beginning to what is certain to be an abundant, prosperous and joy-filled new year! many days spent together doing the things we love. and sometimes doing nothing at all. we've mostly been staying cozy and busy indoors since winter is upon us here in central texas...
yesterday we spent a good deal of our morning setting about one of our favorite chores - winding yarn! maya has become quite skilled and efficient at using the ball winder and really has begun to own that task, so my responsibility is to simply prepare the skeins and put them on the swift for her to wind them into little yarn cakes...
it's all about teamwork, yes? oh how these colors make me feel warm just looking at them!
