back home...

sorry for the absence here for the past few days. we've been on a short trip to see family. and to visit the waldorf kindergarten that maya will be attending in the fall. what comfort and joy it is to be in that environment. such excitement and anticipation! and special moments spent with family and friends. i am basking in the gratefulness and joy.

it is always good to return home again after traveling, as well. to get back into the rhythm of our days. to be in our own home environment again. our nest. and bring the joy of our travels and experiences into our everyday life and play here at home.

today i am 47 years old. it is always a strange thing to me, this aging process. i feel just the same today as i did when i was in my 20's and 30's. nothing has changed in me, except my perception of what age really is. as a child, the age i am now would have seemed old. but today, i feel as though life is just beginning. to quote goethe - 'age merely shows what children we remain'!
