these are daily scenes in our home. babies are carefully dressed each morning and after some play time, they are settled into their bed for a nice rest (a rainbow bed, no less)...
and as my little mama goes about her work, i see her give her baby a sweet snuggle, a moment of comfort, a kiss on the cheek...
at mealtime and snacktime, baby is brought to her highchair and she enjoys a carefully prepared meal or snack...
it brings me great joy to watch my child learn by imitation in this way, as she does so completely unselectively and instinctively. therefore, the importance of my task as her mama is to always strive to be worthy of imitation. a tall order, to be sure. but one that i am honored to be given and for which i will always be eternally grateful.
yours in gratitude,
shelley
