happy autumn equinox! we've had an abundance of rain the last few days so what better way to celebrate the change in seasons than photographing more of my yarn stash? and in some beautiful fall colors, no less...

with our long commute each week to maya's new school, i want to be mindful of the world we see around us as we travel and take time to notice the little things. it is so easy to set ourselves in rush mode, so easy to let things pass us by. but i am noticing that our car time has become our quiet time. and i'm finding it quite grounding and centering, both for maya and myself. especially when we take notice of something we have not seen before, which usually sparks a conversation and an opportunity to share and learn. i'm relishing these moments with great mindfulness and joy...
