my first installment of holiday handknits this week consists of three hats, a pair of fingerless mitts and a stripey ribbed scarf. all in single ply merino worsted yarn (using either malabrigo worsted, manos del uruguay maxima, three irish girls galenas merino or 100purewool merino single ply), in a variety of colorful combinations! you can find my specific knitting notes and details for each in the following ravelry links...

after another unintentional absence here, i am back once again with belated holiday wishes! we enjoyed an extended lovely and quiet holiday break with family and dear friends...involving a great deal of fun, food and traditions new and old - filling our hearts with much gratitude and joy! hoping your holidays were just as wonderful and magical as ours...
oh yes, and there was also plenty of knitting going on as well, let me tell you. i'll be sharing some of my holiday handknits here this week (just as i have in years past), so i do hope you will join me as i attempt to finally find my rhythm once again here on the blog!
