this week i've been diligently working on finishing up protoypes and writing up some fun new patterns for a few more felted items that i've had in the works for a while now. first up is a felted water bottle holder that i'm working on using malabrigo worsted to fit a standard size water bottle, with a couple of different variations for the strap (i'm making this prototype to fit an 18oz klean kanteen)...
i'm also working on a felted door stop pattern,which i intend to fill with sand or gravel. for this pattern, i'm using my new farmhouse yarns andy's merino and i'm really excited to see how the prototype for this one turns out!
i should have these two patterns, plus an additional pattern for some felted drawstring bags (including the felted treasure bag and the felted flute bag that i've made previously) finished and up on ravelry in the next week or two. i'll announce the release of the patterns here on my blog. :)
also this week i'm finishing up the last two gnome hats i'm knitting for our school's fundraising auction! here's the first of these last two hats. only one more to go after this...
