this weekend, i put the final finishing touches on the first prototype for my new felted water bottle carrier/holder pattern! this pattern (which i will be releasing shortly, via ravelry) calls for just one skein of malabrigo worsted and is a quick and easy one-day knit. i used one of malabrigo's variegated 'seleccion privada' colorways for this carrier (color A) and i'll have one finished in a solid color to share in the next few days. there will be two strap options included in the pattern - this shorter threaded button closure strap (pictured below, which is great for attaching to a lunch box), as well as a longer over-the-shoulder strap option (which i'll be incorporating on the next sample)...
