the second of maya's birthday handknits that i'll be sharing with you this week (the first was yesterday's felted drawstring bag) is this dream in color rainbow tunic. similar to the other tunics i've knit for her, i used a combination of georgie hallam's bloom and rainbow dresses. in a lovely rainbow of dream in color classy, worsted-weight colorways (ravelry notes here)! we will be gifting her with this special tunic early, as we want her to be able to wear it for her birthday celebration at her waldorf school on friday...
i went with the original bloom dress eyelet and lace border on this tunic (just as i did with the first scrappy tunic i made for her) as i love it's simple, yet classic, styling. photos of maya in her new tunic will be forthcoming!
