my works-in-progress this week are...can you guess? more gnome hats! yes, this truly is my favorite hat for children. besides being perfectly designed to keep both head and neck warm and well covered, i must say that i get more compliments on this hat than any other i've ever knit. and so, here are a few more scrappy versions...with more on the needles!
i plan on making several more of these using the trays of yarn above, which i've grouped together into warm and cool colors. this yarn is mostly malabrigo merino worsted, with a few other similar yarns thrown in. here's to many more gnome hats in the making. :-)
p.s. happy december to all! as a sidenote...with the holidays approaching, i wanted to let anyone who might be interested know that i've reworked my sponsorship program here on waldorfmama.com and will be offering only one level of sponsorship, going forward, at a new and very reasonable rate. so feel free to contact me if you are interested, since it's december 1st and i'm adding new sponsors now.
