oh my, i've got quite a few things to share today! first up are two new gnome hats that i've completed as gifts (modeled by maya below). both are scrappy knits, using mostly malabrigo worsted leftovers (with a few other unknown yarns in there, as well). this first one was a gift for one of maya's classmates (you will find the selection of yarns used just below the finished photos)...
and here is the second gnome hat, gifted to the young son of maya's amazing waldorf teacher (also modeled by maya, even though it fits her a big snug since i made it a slightly smaller size). once again, i used malabrigo leftovers (with the selection of yarn colors following the hat photos)...
i've also just begun yet another gnome hat, to be included as my token work-in-progress today. this hat will actually be one of three gnome hats going to a lovely family with three sweet girls! i'm planning on using the same selection of colors for all three hats, just rearranging them in a different order for each...
and last but definitely not least, i finished my most recent felted iphone purse. and for all of those who may be interested, *** i will finally be officially announcing and making this new pattern of mine available tomorrow! ***...
oh yes, its been a whirlwind of creativity here. and i'm loving every minute of it. :) so don't forget to check back in again tomorrow for the (long-awaited) announcement of my new pattern!
