i have 3 new works-in-progress this week - 2 new scarves, and a sweater...for me!
first up is a new scarf for wesley. when i saw this amazing colorway (named the splendor of mystery) in sundara sport silk, i knew a simple and classy seed stitch scarf was in my sweetheart's future. these are totally his colors...
next is another baktus scarf that i'm knitting as a gift for maya's very special kindergarten teacher. she loves the ocean so i chose this beautiful capri colorway in fleece artist italian silk. this is going to be a very elegant and luxurious scarf. and every stitch will be filled with love and gratitude...
and last up, a february lady sweater...for me (and i started it in february, no less!). i don't often knit for myself, but my dallas knitting pals and i are doing this cardigan as a knit-a-long - and i'm really excited about it. i'm using some luscious great adirondack bamboo cotton. i've only knit the beginning of the yoke...but as you can see, i've already added the buttons (i couldn't resist).
